Unwanted Credit Inquiry

Opening an account at Wells Fargo seems to have created a credit check.

I took my son in the other day to open a teen checking account at Wells Fargo, where I am an existing customer. They said that I had to be on the account as well (presumably because my son is a minor) so I said ok. Prior to going in, I’d called their customer service to find out the details of the account, and to ask if they did a credit check.

Boutique Funders

A look at factoring, banks, and a recent Wells Fargo acquisition.

From my experience, I have seen banks attempting factoring but, generally, shying away from it because they realize that their one commercial or business banking scenario does not work well for this specialized type of funding. They do realize however, that there is a need for the funding offered in the cash flow industry and Wells Fargo Bank has, in fact, recently purchased one of our larger factoring companies!

Beyond Letters

Wells Fargo is marketing to Spanish-speaking communities.

Has my quality of life disintegrated - absolutely! Billboards, signs in stores and advertising are all appearing in Spanish. The Wells Fargo Bank on Euclid Avenue has their indoor signs primarily in Spanish. Even the City of Ontario is sending out city publications printed in both English and Spanish! These are all signs to welcome illegal immigrants! As long as the powers that be cater to the Spanish speaking population life will continue to decline.
